our mediéval villages
Cordes sur Ciel, Puycelci, Bruniquel, St Antonin Noble Val and Penne are all medieval perched villages and are well known in France, they are close to each other and are certainly worth a visit.
Each village is different in terms of its history and cultural value with a castel and meuseum and usually a cafe and terrace where you can relax with a coffee !
In the middle ages the Cathars also left their mark here.
local markets & brocantes
What could be more fun than going to a local market and enjoying the variety of foods and people and soaking up the French atmosphere !
Every day there is a market in Albi, or Gaillac and all the surrounding towns, without forgetting the night market in summer Les nocturnes gourmandes et musicales !
Flea markets are generally on Sundays.
